Nový Jičín is a beautiful historical town situated at the south edge of Moravian gate in Podbeskydy hill. The town and its surrounding can be proud of its unusual number of historic sights. It’s an ideal starting point for trips into the neighbourhood or more distance surrounding, to places full of historical sightseeing or to the mountains – Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. The whole place is interwoven with marked hiking trails, cycling routes and educational trails.
